Engineering manager and tech lead for distributed systems in blockchain and payments. Early Go engineer on a rollup node, then led its 5-engineer team to production; shipped 2 mainnet protocol changes; now a PM prototyping agentic payment experiments.

## Current role

Manav is a Product Manager at [Celestia Labs](https://celestia.org/), where he has worked since March 2022. He runs discovery for agentic-commerce products and co-designed an [agent micropayments scheme on x402](https://cloudflare-payments.pages.dev/) for paid content at the CDN edge.

## Career path

- Joined Rollkit, a rollup framework, as its third engineer and built the core of its node in Go (2022–2023).
- Led the Evolve team as engineering manager and tech lead, managing 5 engineers and taking the stack to production (2023–2025).
- Led the Interop team, managing 3 engineers, and authored CIP-45 and CIP-46, both shipped to Celestia mainnet (2025–2026).
- Before Celestia: software engineer at Two Sigma on time-series storage, and an intern at Meta on probabilistic programming.
- B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University (2021).
